Front Range Records is an independent record label formed by Nashville singer songwriter country/blues artist Mike Schikora. Mike spent years toiling in Nashville as a staff songwriter and now uses his own voice to paint his song-pictures of his life and loves and his youth and current life living in the West, raising horses.
Mike’s goal to grow by incorporating Front Range Records into the mainstream online indie label industry by representing artists with strong country and blues music, backed with strong lyrics and a strong, unique voice.
The other appealing quality about Front Range Records is the requirement that the artists own their own masters! "There is no incentive for a self penned artist to grow when they sign their rights away!", states owner and featured artist Mike Schikora. "The job as a record label is to sell records for our artists, that's it!"
